Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include addressing, stamping and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, sorting, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.

Essential Functions:

• Deliver or route materials to departments using work devices such as forklift, hand truck, etc.
• Locates materials by FIFO procedures to ensure the correct product at line
• Examine contents and compare labels, verify accuracy of label
• Scan materials to proper warehouse locations
• Label rows with placard to identify product
• Maintain storage spaces, cast and machined parts, dunnage
• Support maintaining and sorting customer layer pads for Machining production
• Maintains material handling equipment by completing all necessary inspections
• Relay to Department Coordinator any problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications
• Participate in continuous improvement and 5-S activity
• Meet overall company goals established concerning key performance indicators

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• 6 months to 1 year related experience
• Forklift experience
• Shipping/material handling experience
