JOB DESCRIPTION

Cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas and hallways, and restocking supplies like linens, toiletries, and amenities. Key responsibilities are ensuring guest areas are clean and sanitary, making beds, and reporting maintenance issues or damage. 

Key responsibilities
  • Room and area cleaning: Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and elevators. 
  • Bed and linen management: Make beds, change linens, and replace towels according to hotel standards. 
  • Restocking supplies: Replenish guestroom amenities, including toiletries, drinking glasses, and other items like coffee, tissues, and minibar supplies. 
  • Waste removal: Empty trash bins and remove room service trays from guest rooms. 
  • Maintenance and reporting: Identify and report any broken appliances, light bulbs, or other maintenance issues to the appropriate department. 
  • Guest service: Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a courteous manner. 
  • Security and privacy: Uphold hotel standards for security and guest privacy, respecting “do not disturb” signs. 
  • Inventory and cart management: Stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts with necessary cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities.
