JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, trays, and utensils using commercial dishwashers
  • Operating and maintaining dishwashing machines, ensuring proper temperature and chemical levels
  • Keeping the dish room and surrounding areas clean, including mopping floors and wiping down surfaces
  • Assisting with food delivery to patient care areas and restocking supplies
  • Adhering to hospital and departmental safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and reporting malfunctions. 
Skills and Qualifications
  • Attention to Detail: Essential for ensuring proper cleaning and sanitation of all items. 
  • Physical Stamina: The job involves standing for extended periods and lifting items.
