JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description

    • In general, all Electrician roles are required to repair, install, replace, program, and test all electrical circuits, and equipment
    • Periodically perform or assist others in routine to moderately complex repairs or installation of automatic electrical and electronic controls
    • Perform routine electrical/electronic predictive and preventative maintenance on mill equipment
    • Responsible for the repair, modification, and maintenance of a variety of electrical and electronic equipment Perform tasks like wiring circuits, replacing components, and repairing electronic devices
    • Able to use hand and power tools and to understand proper use, including multi-meter and Megger & knowledge of 480-volt 3 Phase AC to perform test readings
    • Remain current in technical changes or equipment designs by attending classes as needed
    • Work rotating shifts, which includes nights, holidays, weekends, and overtime as scheduled or required
    • Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment and completing all required training
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Lock-out procedures
    • Electrical circuitry and components, including circuit breakers, motors, and controllers, control devices, motor theory, rigging, precision alignments
    • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
    • Computer and PLC skills ELECTRICIAN
