JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Monitors and checks the process of importing and exporting goods, controlling the amount of inventory in the warehouse, issuing papers and documents for goods and ensuring quality and quantity to limit losses. release goods for stores and businesses.
  • Inventory control and auditing: Updating the status of goods, and monitoring the quantity and quality of goods entering and leaving the warehouse.

  • Preparation of warehouse invoices and receipts: During the process of goods entering and leaving the warehouse, invoices need to be stored for future reference. The warehouse accountant is responsible for recording related data and carefully preserving invoices for goods entering and leaving.

  • Accounting and tax declaration: All activities related to goods, revenue, and expenses in the warehouse must be recorded and accounted for meticulously. Additionally, the warehouse accountant also declares input and output taxes by regulations.

  • Coordination with the warehouse keeper: Collaborating with the warehouse keeper to accurately audit the quantity of goods.

  • Other tasks: Providing suggestions and ideas for improving goods to facilitate the sustainable development of the business.

  • Regularly conduct inventory checks to record quantity, quality, and classification. Based on statistical data, proposing storage solutions for specific quantities of goods to prevent shortages when demand increases unexpectedly. All statistical records are submitted to the accounting department.
  • The warehouse accountant verifies the validity of invoices and document types before goods are delivered or received. They enter information from invoices and documents into the system to ensure that no paperwork is lost. If there are outstanding debts, the warehouse accountant prepares verification reports.
  • Compiling end-of-month reports to summarize daily statistical data, helping both the warehouse accountant and the leadership understand the status of goods.

  • Accounting and cross-checking of invoices and receipts within the month. Figures and expenses are meticulously calculated for the business to understand the financial situation.

  • Completing documentation, records, and certifying documents for reporting to higher-level management.

  • When handling goods in and out: Carefully check documents and invoices each time goods are received or dispatched to ensure accuracy and forward the paperwork to the accounting and procurement departments.

  • Monitor outbound and inbound inventory: This task needs to be performed daily to keep track of quantities and prevent shortages.

  • Monitor minimum inventory levels: There should always be a minimum inventory level in the warehouse, so warehouse accountants need to monitor this and make adjustment proposals to superiors if necessary.

  • Organize goods in the warehouse: You should know how to efficiently arrange and organize goods in the warehouse to ensure there is space available for any unexpected inventory.

  • Ensure accurate document information: When conducting purchasing and ordering procedures, warehouse accountants must ensure that the information on documents is absolutely accurate to avoid any errors or issues later on.

  • Maintain product quality standards: Compliance with manufacturer standards is crucial to ensure the quality of the goods in the warehouse.
