JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Recordkeeping: Accurately record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, invoices, and payments, into the company’s general ledger. 
  • Accounts PayableManage bills and payments due to vendors, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing. 
  • Accounts ReceivableHandle client invoices, track payments, and send out receipts. 
  • Payroll ProcessingProcess payroll for employees, coordinating with payroll services or using accounting software. 
  • Bank ReconciliationRegularly reconcile bank statements with company records to identify and resolve any discrepancies. 
Financial ReportingPrepare and generate financial statements, such as profit and loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets, for business owners and managers.
Requirements
Attention to Detail:
A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial data and transactions.

Technical Skills
Proficiency with accounting software and basic computer skills, including spreadsheets. 

Communication Skills
Ability to communicate effectively with business owners, clients, and accountants. 
Software Management
Use and maintain accounting software (QuickBooks) to manage financial data.
Organizational Skills
Strong ability to manage and organize financial data and records.
