Position Summary

This is skilled work in the maintenance repair and installation in buildings and assigned areas using equipment as required. Carries out duties both independently and as a team member on specific assigned projects. Ensures inspections of assigned zones are carried out and deficiencies are recorded and corrected in a timely manner. Coordinates department repairs with the least amount of impact on patient care. Ensures all paperwork is completed on time and correctly.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED and 1 year or more of experience in general maintenance experience. Demonstrates knowledge of basic general maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and carpentry. Valid state driver’s license.

Preferred Requirements

Experience in a Healthcare environment
